Kavya Madhavan, കാവ്യ മാധവൻ, is an Indian film actress who works in
Malayalam cinema. She made her debut in Pookkalam Varavayi (1991) as a
child artist. As a heroine Kavya's debut film was Lal Jose's
Chandranudikkunna Dikhil (1999) while she was in the ninth standard. It
was a super hit and from then on there was no looking back. She won the
Kerala State Film Award for Best actress twice, for her performances in
the films Perumazhakkalam (2004) and Gaddama (2010).

Roumers are spreading around that Kavya Madhavan was forced to agree for the second marriage due to family and friends pressure. Kavya had early stated that she wants to continue her acting and concentrate in writing. Kavya has plans to settle down after her second marriage. According to sources, the marriage will take place only after two years and efforts are made to search a groom from the industry itself.
Kavya Madhavan married Nishal Chandra in February 2009 at Kollur Mookambika Temple. Their wedding was a much hyped event at that time. After the wedding, Kavya went to Kuwait with her husband. One year later, Kavya came back and filed for divorce stating that she was mentally and physically tortured by her husband's family. She again filed a case for physical harassment against them. The case went on for about two years and later both the families compromised and went for a mutual divorce.

Kavya was born on 19 September 1984 in the village of Nileshwaram in Kasargod district, Kerala, India, to P. Madhavan and Shyamala. She attended Nileswaram GLP School and entered the film industry as a child artist.
She learned dancing during her school days and participated in competitions. She was a Kalathilakam in a Sub District Schools Youth Festival. She currently resides in DD Village, Thammanam, Ernakulam, Kerala, India. She completed her schooling in National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS)

പി. മാധവൻ ശ്യാമള ദമ്പതികളുടെ മകളായ കാവ്യയുടെ ഏകസഹോദരൻ ആയ മിഥുൻ ഫാഷൻ ഡിസൈനറാണ്. കാസർഗോഡ് ജില്ലയിലെ നീലേശ്വരമാണ് സ്വദേശം.
Though Kavya had many offers from Tamil cinema, she was very reluctant to act due to her busy schedule in Malayalam. Her first was Kasi (2001) which was the remake of Vinayans Vasanthiyum Lakshmiyum Pinne Njaanum. She went on to act in En Mana Vaanil and Sadhu Miranda and enjoyed moderate success.
Kavya MAdhavan got critical acclaim for her performance of the role of Ganga in Perumazhakkalam for which she won 2004 Kerala State Film Award for Best Actress and for the role of Ashwati in Gaddama for the role of house maid working in Saudi Arabia. The movie was based on a feature by K. U. Iqbal, published in Bhashaposhini. The movie was directed by her mentor Kamal and she got her second Kerala State Film Award for Best Actress for 2011.
She also won 2011 Kerala Film Critics Awards for Best Actress, Amrita-FEFKA Film Awards for Best Actress, Best Actress-Malayalam cinema in Filmfare Awards South and Best Actress in Thikkurissy Foundation Awards.
She was also nominated in National film award for Best Actress but lost out in the final round. She also was cast in Adoor Gopalakrishnan movie Naalu Pennungal in which she played a supporting role.
Soon after the divorce with Nishal went on act with her most successful partner onscreen Dileep for Pappy Appacha. Later on she acted in many movies with veteran Superstars of Malayalam cinema such Mammootty and Mohanlal. She also acted in multi-starrer movies like Christian Brothers and China Town.
After the success of Chandranudikkunna Dikhil, Kavya and Dileep become very popular pairing Malayalam cinema, producing several big hits and the pair went on to do 18 movies together. Some of their popular movies include Thenkasipattanam (2000), Darling Darling (2000), Meesa Madhavan (2002) which was one of biggest grosser of the year and was directed by Lal Jose.
Mizhi Randilum (2003) in which she played a double role, Sadanandante Samayam (2003), Thilakkam (2003)directed by Jayaraj, Runway (2004) directed by Joshiy, Kochi Rajavu(2005), Lion (2006) again directed by Joshiy, Chakkara Muthu (2006), Inspector Garud (2007), Paappi Appacha (2010), Vellaripravinte Changathi (2011). Most of their movies were in the romantic comedy genre.
She was offered the female lead in Chandranudikkunna Dikhil (1999) which was also first movie by director Lal Jose who also assisted Kamal in Azhakiya Ravanan. She was in ninth standard when she did the movie. The movie was an instant hit due to the versatile cast, music and story narration and brought both Kavya and Dileep into the limelight.
After her leading role, she became popular in the Malayalam film industry. It has been claimed that she was the busiest female actress in Malayalam. She is also a trained dancer and has won many awards and accolades.
Kavya first appeared as a child actor in Kamal's film Pookkalam Varavayi (1991), she was just 7 years of age when she acted in the movie. Her talent was soon recognised, and she was offered other projects such as Pavam IA Ivachan (1994) and Azhakiya Ravanan (1996).
It was Azhakiya Ravanan directed by Kamal which got her got more public attention. She did a lot of movies after that mostly as a child actor. She wrote lyrics for the song "En Khalbillulloru Pennaanu" for the film One Way Ticket. She sang her first movie song for the Malayalam film Matinee (2012).

Mamta Mohandas, മമ്ത മോഹന്ദാസ്, is an Indian film actress and playback singer. She has mainly acted in Malayalam films, besides few Telugu and Tamil productions and one Kannada film. She has won two Filmfare Awards, for Best Female Playback Singer in Telugu in 2006 and for Best Actress in Malalayam in 2010.

Mamta was born on 14 November 1984 in Kannur into a well off Malayali
family which originally hails from Kannur. She attended the Indian School, Bahrain until 2002. She pursued a Bachelor's degree at Mount Carmel College Bangalore.
She modeled for print ads for companies such as IBM and Kalyan Kendra and modeled on the ramp for the Mysore Maharajah and Raymonds. Mamta is trained in Carnatic and Hindustani music.
Mamta was the brand ambassador of Kochi International Fashion Week
(KIWF) which was held from August 4 to 7. She is the brand ambassador
along with actress Bhavana
for team Kerala Strikers for the Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) held in
2013, captained by Mohanlal, who is also one of the owners of the team,
and vice-captain Indrajith.
In 2012, Mamta starting working in television too, hosting the quiz show Kayyil Oru Kodi on Surya TV. But, later it was stopped.

Mamta débuted in the 2005 Malayalam film Mayookham, directed by Hariharan. Although the film did not do well at the box office, Mamta attracted attention for her sensitive portrayal of Indira.
Subsequently, she acted alongside Mammootty in Bus Conductor, with Suresh Gopi in the films Adbutham (2006) and Lanka (2006), and alongside Jayaram in Madhuchandralekha (2006).
She also played the female lead in Baba Kalyani with Mohanlal. Later that year, she débuted in the Tamil film industry, starring in the Karu Pazhaniappan-directed film Sivappathigaram opposite Vishal Krishna, which turned out to be an average grosser.

Mamta Mohandas Personal History
Mamta is a cancer survivor. She battled Hodgkin's lymphoma with positive energy and confidence. She had to cut her hair off for chemotherapy sessions. In some parts of her film Anwar, she managed to conceal the difference with wigs. Not many were aware of this situation until late 2010.
Mamta got engaged on November 11, 2011 to Prajith Padmanabhan, a
Bahrain based businessman, also her childhood friend. She got married on
December 28, 2011 at Kozhikode. On December 12, 2012, the couple applied for a divorce. In April 2013, she had a relapse of the cancer and underwent treatment.

Mamta Mohandas as a Singer
Mamta is as an acclaimed playback singer in Indian films as well. Mamta, who is trained in Carnatic and Hindustani music, first sang playback in the Telugu film Rakhi, singing the title song under Devi Sri Prasad's
direction, making her début in the Telugu film industry as a singer
before making her acting début in Telugu. She went on to win the 2006 Filmfare Best Female Playback Singer Award for that song.
Subsequently, she was asked to sing several songs for composer Devi Sri Prasad, including the chartbuster "Akalesthe Annam Pedtha" for the Chiranjeevi-starrer Shankardada Zindabad (later dubbed as Daddy Mummy in the Tamil film Villu), "36-24-36" for the film Jagadam, "Mia" for Tulasi, and "Ghanana (Funny)" and the title song for the film King.
Other music directors she has worked with include M. M. Keeravani (for her own films Yamadonga and Krishnarjuna, also Chandamama), R. P. Patnaik (for Andamaina Mansulo), Chakri (for Victory), Nithin Raikwar (for her own film Homam) and Thaman (for Jayeebhava).
In Tamil, she sang "Kaalai Kaalai" in the film Kaalai, which starred Silambarasan in the lead role. She sang "Idai Vazhi" for the comedy film Goa under noted composer Yuvan Shankar Raja's direction. Both songs featured her singing alongside Benny Dayal.
She was heard for the first time in her mother tongue, Malayalam, in the 2010 film Anwar. She has also recorded a song for her recent film Thriller. In the film 'Mohabath', she sang a duet with Hariharan. She sang "Iravil Viriyum" in her 2012 film Arike.
